Perfect pitch, verified
Most makers call a bowl "tuned" if it lands within 10 cents of the target note. We select bowls within plus or minus 5 cents of the truest note. At that tolerance, deviation is generally indistinguishable to the human ear. When you play a C, you hear a C.
Re-engineered for playability
We altered the shape, height, and wall character of each bowl so the rim responds the moment your mallet touches it. Sizes are consistent across the set and the bottoms are slightly flattened for stability. The result is instant playability, long sustain, and clean sine wave generation.
432Hz base tuning, explained plainly
Tuning systems are anchored to middle A. In standard concert tuning, middle A is set at 440Hz. In this set, middle A is set at 432Hz. Every other note in the scale is derived from that anchor. That 8Hz difference in the reference point is the entire distinction between the two systems, and it shifts the whole scale slightly lower and warmer.

About the Binaural F Pairing
The set includes two F4 bowls tuned a few hertz apart. Played side by side, the two frequencies interfere and produce a slow, audible pulsing between them. Each chime is a single hand-cut crystal quartz tube floating in a natural beechwood cradle. The eight notes form a C Major scale in the 6th octave with the high C resolving in the 7th octave, tuned to the same 432Hz reference as your bowls.
Where the bowls generate sustained, room-filling fundamentals, the chimes give you a near-pure tone with a faint shimmering halo, soft in attack, with the high C7 ringing for nearly ten seconds before it dissolves.
Together, the bowls and chimes give you a playable range from the 4th octave through the 7th. The bowls build the foundation. The chimes open the high register, the punctuation marks and transitions that give a session its arc.
