The painting process alone takes days per piece, from the base patina and layered storm work, to the dragon’s fine details, to the final sealing that protects the finished work of art.

Each Thunder Dragon bowl ships with everything you need to play: a handmade hardwood striker wrapped in suede for playing around the rim and drawing out sustained overtones, plus a soft-tipped wool mallet for inviting the bowl to sing with a full, resonant strike.
