The Weathered Collection: The Golden Lotus: 7.25 Inch Singing Bowl
7.25" Hand-Hammered Bell Bronze Singing Bowl, just released.
Handcrafted from bell metal bronze and selected for signature "Ohm-Sound" which features clearly resonant fundmental tones and an uplifting rim tone, the Golden Lotus Bowl is etched with the image of the lotus, symbolic of purity and growth.
To give you a sense of what your new bowl will sound like, we've both played and experimented with this bowl and analyzed it deeply (what singing bowl nerds do).
The tone begins with a steady, vibrant fundamental note in the 200–210 Hz range and slowly unfolds upward into a bright harmonic bloom +400hz.
Its sound is stable and resonant, with a long, graceful decay.
Each bowl is individually handmade, which means no two are exactly alike, in tone or appearance. The lotus flower, rising from bronze, serves as a reminder that clarity emerges through stillness.
This is an heirloom-quality instrument made to last a lifetime (several lifetimes, in fact).
A Special Note About The Weathered Collection:
Please note – this instrument has a special story, even more so than usual for our handmade treasures.
These exact bowls were in our “Sonic Bunker” in Hunt, TX when the flooding occurred July 4th 2025.
Some were hardly impacted; a full shelving unit remained perfectly intact with several of the bowls never even meeting the water. Others were jostled, submerged temporarily and sustained some bumps.
We’ve personally cleaned, taken care of, inspected and evaluated each of these items. Because of the weathering they’ve experienced, we’re pleased to offer them to you at three significant levels of discount, based on their condition from our personal inspection of each.
All are still incredible musical instruments, their impacts were primarily cosmetic (if any).
30% off – “You Can Hardly Tell” At first glance, it looks like a pristine singing bowl (with handmade singing bowls pristine includes hammer marks and asymmetries associated with a handmade instrument). There may be a few light scratches or small discoloration, but these are primarily on the bottom of the bowl. The bulk of our instruments are in this category.
40% off – “Pretty Scratched, Perfect Sound” There are obvious cosmetic and visual imperfections, scratches, discoloration. They play incredibly still, their song is unchanged, they just look weathered.
50% off – “A Little Broken But Still Sings” These bowls and gongs are either bent, or have a small hole in them. They generally play exactly as intended, but they’ve got some physical issues. There’s less than 10 total instruments in this category.
