Special Release Collection: An 8.75 inch diameter toning singing bowl, grounding and clear fundamental tones, a resonant rim tone.

Each of the 15 soul-flower singing bowls was selected from a run of 50 singing bowls.

The bowls we selected for sing a clear --- sustained fundamental note when the bowl is struck on it's side, and a series of complex overtones, each bowls' voice blooms and fades over time — full of shimmering, cascading resonance.

After selection, the bowls were adorned with a multi-phasic approach to the artwork, lightly etched and treated to seal in the beauty.

In the images provided, you will see a "sonogram" of the fundmental and overtones of this singing bowl -- there are 10 prominent tones, and many more beyond this.

The vertical axis shows frequency (up to 2000 Hz). The horizontal axis shows time.

Primary Energy Cluster (~190–200 Hz)

At the base of the sonogram — between 190–200 Hz (G in the 3rd octave) — there’s a bright, dense band that remains strong over time. This is the fundamental tone of the bowl ---  It's the "voice" of the bowl: deep, mellow, and steady.

First Harmonic Cluster (~380–400 Hz)

Above the fundamental, you’ll see a second bright band at around double the frequency — this is the first overtone. It gives the bowl its resonant, singing quality and adds richness to the fundamental tone.

Second Harmonic Cluster (~570–600 Hz)

There’s a third bright region here — often a bit more diffuse and layered. This is the second overtone. It contributes brilliance, shimmer, and the "halo" effect often experienced when listening to handmade bowls.

Additional Harmonics and Microtones (700 Hz – 2000 Hz)

You’ll see a cascade of faint, shimmering streaks rising like ripples into the upper frequencies, these include subtle resonances around 850 Hz, 1150 Hz, and 1400 Hz.

Small but distinct harmonics and inharmonic overtones — these are not exact multiples of the fundamental, a hallmark of handmade rather than machine-made bowls.

These microtones and partials create the bowl’s emotional depth — what might feel like sadness, stillness, or joy when listening. They create that mystical, almost vocal-like quality.

Each bowl comes with a handmade, wooden mallet and a hand-sewn cushion.

Please note that each bowl is unique, and that your SoulFlower Bowl's frequencies will not match exactly -- but follow similar, incredible patterns.

A Special Note About The Weathered Collection:

Please note – this instrument has a special story, even more so than usual for our handmade treasures.

These exact bowls were in our “Sonic Bunker” in Hunt, TX when the flooding occurred July 4th 2025.

Some were hardly impacted; a full shelving unit remained perfectly intact with several of the bowls never even meeting the water. Others were jostled, submerged temporarily and sustained some bumps.

We’ve personally cleaned, taken care of, inspected and evaluated each of these items. Because of the weathering they’ve experienced, we’re pleased to offer them to you at three significant levels of discount, based on their condition from our personal inspection of each.

All are still incredible musical instruments, their impacts were primarily cosmetic (if any).

30% off – “You Can Hardly Tell” At first glance, it looks like a pristine singing bowl (with handmade singing bowls pristine includes hammer marks and asymmetries associated with a handmade instrument). There may be a few light scratches or small discoloration, but these are primarily on the bottom of the bowl. The bulk of our instruments are in this category.

40% off – “Pretty Scratched, Perfect Sound” There are obvious cosmetic and visual imperfections, scratches, discoloration. They play incredibly still, their song is unchanged, they just look weathered.

50% off – “A Little Broken But Still Sings” These bowls and gongs are either bent, or have a small hole in them. They generally play exactly as intended, but they’ve got some physical issues. There’s less than 10 total instruments in this category.
