How I would begin with the pair
Strike the Jupiter Bowl first. Let its low tone open and settle in the room. Then introduce the smaller bowl and listen to its higher attack and partials against the Jupiter Bowl’s continuing sustain. The sequence gives you two clearly different musical events to work with.

I built the set around two registers, two timbres, and the technique to hear their relationship.
A single bowl establishes one pitch center, one overtone field, and one rate of decay. The Jupiter Bowl gives you a lower fundamental and a long low sustain. Your six-inch bowl gives you a higher-register attack and a different field of ringing partials. I paired them so you can listen to how the second sound arrives inside the first bowl’s continuing decay.
