The Opal Song Bowl
Meet The Opal Song Bowl: a visually striking instrument, hand-selected for its colorful brilliance and clean, expressive tone.
Measuring approximately 8.5 inches in diameter, the Opal Song Bowl is a 3rd octave singing bowl fundamentally, and produces a strong fourth octave songwhen played around the rim. Bell like, clear.
Struck on the side, it offers a faster, more articulate attack with a soft shimmer of upper harmonics that quickly resolve into the core note.
The surface of the bowl is a fully chromatic gradient, ranging from deep greens and blues on the exterior to vibrant violets, golds, and magentas on the base and inner walls. The interior is etched with intricate mandala and lotus designs, subtle under direct light, but luminous in hand.
This is a limited, hand-selected bowl of which 8 were made.
Comes with a traditional striker and a fitted cushion.
