The Spirit Gong is tuned by hand, by ear and by feel. Each a testaments to the makers decades of practice.
Crafted from silver-nickel alloy, a rare material chosen for its unique sound clarity and exceptional sustain, the Spirit Gong sounds unlike any bronze gong. Clear, precise, bright with exceptionally sustain and harmonically complex.
From our study, the 24 inch spirit gong will unfold in 4 phases when struck near it’s middle.
Initiation: A full-spectrum sound is released instantly. Frequencies span from thousands of hertz, bursting out.
Harmonic Formation: A deep root tone around 115 Hz anchors the sound. Layered harmonics rise, first in the 300–650 Hz range, then into the shimmering highs.

The Spirit Gong represents a departure from Ohm Store traditional bronze instruments. Each gong is crafted from rare silver-nickel alloy — a material specifically chosen for its exceptional tonal qualities.
Unlike bronze, which produces warmer, sometimes muddier tones, silver-nickel creates sounds of extraordinary clarity and precision. The alloy allows for:

The Creative Process
The process begins with a flat sheet of silver-nickel.
Meditation is held before any work begins — to ask permission from the masters and offer gratitude. José is a master deeply connected to his work in a spiritual way.
The edge is burned, in a numerologically aligned ring, then cooled for days.
The sound body is hammered, front and back, by hand which shapes both vibration and visual symmetry.
Rest phases are built into the creation cycle, allowing the metal to "learn" its shape and settle.
Every bump is measured, placed, and struck in harmony with sacred geometry.

Every dimension of this gong was intentional.
The center heart of the Spirit Gong is 11 cm wide.
The burned edge is precisely 11 cm from the perimeter.
The first circle of bumps is placed at an 11 cm radius.
Every bump follows the pattern of the Flower of Life, which is an ancient symbol representing harmony, balance, and the fundamental geometry of existence.

About The Master Craftsman
Before building gongs, José was a teacher of yoga and breath. He encountered a gong in a sound journey, and it changed everything for him.
He traveled across Europe and the U.S. studying under the great gongmasters, collecting the finest instruments, and leading sound journeys across Spain.
Eventually, he began building to transmit frequency and intention through form
